PEPG Engineering is a new name for a company that has been in business for
over 20 years. The company was originally founded as Engineering Planning
Group (EPG) in 1984. After a merger with a larger regional company in November
of 1999, the name was changed to Pentacore Engineering Planning Group (PEPG).
In November of 2001, the Pentacore family of companies separated
into several different entities. The portion of the company formally known as
Pentacore Engineering Planning Group was converted to a separate, privately held
limited liability company known simply as PEPG, L.L.C. Throughout these
transitions, the local core ownership and management has remained constant for
the entire 20-year period. In addition, the firm has retained some of the
the initial EPG employees, while adding new employees, services and expertise.
Currently PEPG employs approximately 40-50 personnel. We have offices located in
Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah. The firm maintains engineering and/or
surveying licenses in eight states. Our broad background extends through a wide
range of Civil Engineering related services. These include Civil Engineering,
Land Surveying, Construction Staking, Construction Management, Materials Testing,
Inspection, Wetlands, Landscape Architechture and Environmental Services.
With this full range of services, PEPG is able to take a project from concept
to completion.
